Happy New Year!!!
After a wonderful few weeks in Barcelona, Spain, Zeis and I are back in New York City. Our time in Barcelona was incredible as we were able to spend time with family, enjoy the city during the holidays and share the city with our lovely women travelers. Having weather in the high 50’s and 60’s was also a huge bonus.
While we did enjoy some down time, we also got down to business. We hit the streets to find the latest and greatest in tapas, wine bars and cool cafes to share with you. We discovered some cozy new spots we can’t wait to add to our upcoming 2014 tour itineraries. From tiny wine bars to old school bodegas, we have gotten off the beaten path to bring you the most authentic travel experiences.
In addition to exploring Barcelona, we also went on a few day escapes. We went back to Penedes and Sitges, two places we love very much but also did a road trip a bit further north to Cadaques, the famous artist Salvador Dali’s hometown. We will be sharing more about these locations in the days and weeks to come.
We also took a jaunt across the Mediterranean Sea to Morocco. Morocco has always held a warm place in my heart. We spent some time in Marrakech and also Essaouira. We are very excited about Morocco as we have lots of plans and ideas brewing but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out what they are.
In the upcoming few weeks back in chilly New York, we will be revealing our 2014 tour group travel itineraries, new ideas we have in store as well as some of our favorite finds and experiences. We are very excited and look forward to having you traveling ladies on board. Happy Travels!!!
