It’s another gray, cold and yes, snowy day in NYC. It is definitely beginning to feel like time for another Spain escape but since that is not happening, at least not yet, let’s talk about beautiful design in Barcelona.
Barcelona is one of the cities I most love for its architecture and design. It is what most stands out in my mind when thinking of this cosmopolitan city. The Art Nouveau movement inspired much of the architecture in Barcelona which is still so important to the city. The Modernisme design details are spotted almost everywhere–lampposts, benches, buildings. There is even a Ruta de Modernisme you can follow to see these unique beauties. We thought we would share some design inspiration from Barcelona’s Modernisme route.
