About a 35 km drive southwest from Barcelona is Sitges, a scenic coastal town.  It is here where the locals of Barcelona spend their summers.

We will spend the day away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy the coastal views and relaxing charm of this picturesque beach town.  Lunch will be served outside (weather permitting) and you will get to enjoy what this town is all about–fresh fish and seafood.  Lunch consists ofpica pica or sampling of seafood specialities.  Our entree is Fideua, another of Spain’s typical seafood dishes.  You could say this is the sister of Paella.   After lunch, you will be able to explore this quaint town on your own.  Bask in the sunshine, sit at one of the many local cafes for a cafe con leche or stroll the neighborhood and explore the sites such as the Cementari San Sebastia, the iconic church or one of the town’s four museums.  As with all our guided tours, our goal is to give you a balance of group time and time to explore on your own.  Afterwards we will head back to Barcelona.
