Cafe con leche

One of Zeis and my favorite things is coffee….lattes and when in Spain, cafe con leche is our drink of choice.  As in most European countries, cafes are very popular and in most Spanish cafes and bars, cafe con leche is really, really good.  One of the best things is how affordable they are and it seems that no matter where you get your coffee, there is very little to complain about.  The coffee is just so good!

During our time in Spain this summer, not a breakfast went by that we didn’t enjoy a cafe con leche or two.  While exploring on on our road trip, we definitely made lots of pit stops and not so much because we needed to but because we just needed a coffee fix.  Basically we just wanted to enjoy as much cafe con leche as we could.

Not sure if it’s the actual coffee or the preparation or the way the coffee is served, often in cute, little coffee cups.  We prefer the small, clear glasses, but either way, we’ll take it!   It’s too bad that coffee like this isn’t made in New York but luckily Zeis’ coffee making skills are pretty fantastic.
